You may pray out loud, silently in mind, or with paper and pen. You can pray by sing a worship song, or reading a Psalm.

God will always hear you regardless of what form your prayer takes. As you could speak with your family and friends about a wide range of topics, it is possible to speak to God about whatever. And on the flip side, if you’re able to focus on God while sitting at the middle of a crowded canteen time of lunch, then that’s perfectly acceptable also. If you are ever in the position that you would like to pray, but do not know exactly what to say, you may always recite the Lord’s prayer found at Matthew 6: 9-13.

Another approach is for find one of the Psalms that reflects what you are feeling or what you would like to say to God. You may recite it our loud for the Lord, or read in silently while contemplating God’s presence. What matters most is how frequently you pray. God wants to spend some time with you! You become full of God’s love and closeness and you may want to pray increasingly more. The more your pray, the more you may want to pray until eventually, you’re spending time with God in all that your do. In 1 Thessalonians 5: 17, Paul tells us for Pray without ceasing. Paul doesn’t mean that we need to become on our knees at earnest prayer at every moment of our lives.
