Master’s Thesis Defense

This course is for doctoral candidates who have completed all courses, examinations, and Master’s Thesis Defense Research and Writing course.  MRES 596 must be taken a minimum of five (5) times.

Upon completion and approval of your Master’s Thesis Research paper, the candidate will present a 15-20 minute PowerPoint oral final defense of the study with an emphasis on the findings and the conclusions.  Evaluation of the Final Defense will include three possible results:

  • Pass;
  • Provisionally approved with revisions; or
  • Failure.
