The Holy Trinity

There are numerous volumes of writings about the Holy Trinity and they contain many confusing words. In reference to an explanation of the Holy Trinity, those books will not compare with the simplicity of the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible is inspired by God, 2 Timothy 3:16, and is useful for teaching, for correction, and for telling us how a Christian should live. The Holy Trinity means three Gods in one body, and that one body is God the highest. The one body contains: God the Father God the Son and God the Spirit of God and any one of the three Gods is equally capable of being God the Highest, and each of the three Gods is distinct from one another. Some Christians who believe in the Holy Trinity teach that Jesus Christ, with the Spirit of God, is God the Highest. Their teaching not only turns the Trinity of God Into a two-some, but also belittles God the Father. Numerous verses in the Holy bible disagree with their teaching

Some Holy Bible verses about the existence of the Holy Trinity are: Ephesians 4:4-6. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope for your calling, 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all. 2 Corinthians 13:14 . The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Spirit of God is with all of you. Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Spirit of God. 1 John 5:7, NRSVACE Footnote: A few other authorities read (with variations) 7 There are three that testify in heaven, the Father, the Word, the Spirit of God, and these three are one.

Jesus said, “ I and the Father are one.” John 10:30

John 12:49-50, 49 for I have not spoken on my own, but the Father who sent me has given me a commandment about what to say and what to speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I speak, therefore, I speak just as the Father has told me.” John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 20:17 Jesus said to her, “Do not hold on to Me, because I have not ascended to the Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, to My God and your God.’ Romans 15:6 that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 John 1:3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, in truth and love. Ephesians 5:20 give thanks to God the Father at all times and for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. John 17:21-23 21 that they may all be one. As You, Father, are in Me and I am in You, may they also be one, and in unity that the world may believe that You have sent Me. 22 The glory that You have given Me I have given them that they may be one, as We are one, 23 I in them and you in Me, that they may become completely one, so that the world may know that You have sent Me and have loved them even as You have loved Me. 1 Peter 2:5 as Spiritual living stones, let yourselves be built into a Spiritual House, to be a Holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

When God the Father subjected everything to Jesus, His Son, the Father did not subject Himself or depart from the Holy Trinity. 1 Corinthians 15:27-28. 27 For God (the Father) has put all things in subjection under His (The Son’s) feet. But when it says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is plain that this does not include the one (The Father) who put all things in subjection under him (The Son.) 28 When all things are subjected to Him (The Son), then the Son Himself will also be subjected to the one (The Father,) who put all things in subjection under Him (The Son,) so that God may be all in all (Three in One). Psalm 110:1 1 The Lord (the Father) says to My lord (the Son,) “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool.” Ephesians 6:12 Our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places Hebrews 10:12-13. 12 But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, “He sat down at the right hand of God,” 13 and since then has been waiting “until His enemies would be made a footstool for His feet.”

The Revelation 11:15 then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord (the Father), also of his Christ, and He (the Father and the Son and the Spirit) will reign forever and ever.” Revelation 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, proclaiming, “salvation, the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ, have come. Revelation 5:14 the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the elders fell down and worshiped. Revelation 7:10 All cried out in a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 1Corinthians 15:55-57 55 “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 8:3-4 3 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do: by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and to deal with sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the just requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit (the Spirit of God.)

Revelation 20:6. Blessed, and holy, are those who share in the first resurrection. Over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with Him a thousand years. Revelation 22:1 1 and through the middle of the street of the city the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God (the Father) and of the Lamb. Revelation 21:23 the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God is its light, and its lamp is the Lamb.

The Holy Trinity continues onward from the new heaven and new earth. Nothing is said about God, the Spirit of God, but He, a God, remains a member of the trinity and He has distinguishable forms: God the Spirit of God appeared in forms other than a puff of wind or a sound wave. Mark 1:10 and just as He (Jesus) was coming up out of the water, we saw the heavens opened and the Spirit descending like a dove on Jesus. Acts 2:1-4 1 On the day of Pentecost they were all were together in one place. 2 And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, which filled the entire house. 3 Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. 4 All were filled with the Spirit of God. 2 Chronicles 18:18-22. 18 Then Micaiah said, “Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on His throne, with all the Host of Heaven standing to the right and to the left of Him. 19 And the Lord said, ‘Who will entice King Ahab of Israel, so that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?’ Then one said one thing, and another said another, 20 until the Spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, saying, ‘I will entice him.’ The Lord asked him, ‘How?’ 21 He replied, ‘I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ Then the Lord said, ‘You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do it.’ 22 So you see, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these your prophets; the Lord has decreed disaster for you.” Revelation 10:4 when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from Spirit of God in heaven saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.” John 14:26 But the Helper, the Spirit of God, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you. John 15:26 “When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth who comes from the Father, He will testify on My behalf. 2Timothy 1: 7 for God did not give us a Spirit of cowardice, but rather a Spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.

The Holy Trinity and creation:

Genesis 1:2 the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters. Job 33:4 The Spirit of God has made us and the breath of the Almighty gives us life. 1Corinthians 8:6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, from Whom are all things and for Whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through Whom are all things and through Whom we exist.

The Holy Trinity and Salvation:

1 John 4:9, 11, 12 9 God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent His only Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 11 Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and His love is perfected in us. 1John 5:11 Here is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Hebrews 10:10 It is by God’s will that we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Titus 3:4-6 4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the water of rebirth and renewal by the Spirit of God. 6 This Spirit He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, Romans 8:11 If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through His Spirit that dwells in you. John 5:21 the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will. 2 Corinthians 5:18-20. 18 All is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation and gave Himself (Christ) for our sins to set us free from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to Whom be the glory forever and ever. 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to His self, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us. 20 So we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making His appeal through us; we entreat you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. Hebrews 1:1-3 1 Long ago God spoke to our ancestors in many and various ways by the prophets, 2 but in these last days He has spoken to us by a Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through Whom He also created the worlds. 3 Christ the reflection of God’s glory and the exact imprint of Gods very being, and He sustains all things by His powerful word. When He (Christ) had made purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:13 By this we know that we abide in Him (the Father) and He in us, because he has given us of His Spirit.

The Holy Trinity and Worship:

John 4:21,23 21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such as these to worship Him. Revelation 22:3 Nothing accursed will be found in the city of new Jerusalem and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His servants will worship Him (God the Father and the Lamb.) Revelation 21:22 I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb.

The Holy Trinity and Judgment:

John 5:19 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of His own accord, but only what He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise John 5:30 Jesus said “I can do nothing on My own authority; as I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I seek not My own will but the will of Him who sent me.

Remember these following words from Jesus Christ before there is any belittling of either God the Father or God the Son. John 17:1-3 1 After Jesus had spoken these words He looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son so that the Son may glorify You, 2 since You have given Him authority over all people, to give eternal life to all whom You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal life, to know You, Father, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
